Things would never be the same! What began as a phone call between Kevin and his wife Jody, took them on a journey that dramatically showed them the love and the power of God. The wounded body of a nine month-old baby girl lay in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the hospital Jody was nursing supervisor at. The baby needed love and a home where she could continue receiving a high level of medical care. For Kevin and Jody, the phone call was a call to action. With promising careers before them and two young sons, their lives were busy and their futures on track. But God was asking them ‘to walk their talk’ and to put another person’s interests above their own.
