In Lily-Work, pastor and cancer survivor Marco David invites you to the hidden garden where the finest details of a life are crafted for God’s eyes alone.
Drawing from the almost-forgotten bronze lilies that crowned Solomon’s temple—four cubits of intricate beauty thirty-five feet above the crowd—Marco unfolds a life-changing truth: the moments no one sees, the prayers no one hears, the sacrifices no one applauds, are the very places God is forging eternal reward. From the widow’s two coins to David’s rooftop fall and restoration, from Michelangelo’s unseen brushstrokes to a crippled prince who gladly surrendered everything because “my lord the king has come safely home,” this book is a passionate call to trade the exhausting pursuit of human applause for the wide-open freedom of living before an Audience of One.
Raw, poetic, and deeply biblical, Lily-Work is written for every believer who has ever wondered if the quiet, costly acts of obedience really matter. They do. More than you can imagine.
If you are tired of performing faith and longing to bloom where only God climbs, this book will feel like coming home.
