There is something almost mystical in the way the lines of a poem touch the heart. It somehow breaks down the barriers of dispassionate viewing, and causes the reader to open their heart and pause for a moment in reflection. I trust that you will be blessed by reading these poems and that God will minister to you through them.
—Pastor Brad McFeters, Greater Portland Baptist Church
I have known Martie most of her life. She and my daughter grew up together. She was like a member of our household. I was her Blue Bird leader, Campfire Girl leader, and after school she was here everyday as her parents worked. I have always known her to love Jesus and have seen her grow in her faith throughout her life, always sharing her love for Him. These poems are a reflection of that love. I know you will be inspired, encouraged and greatly blessed by them as I have been. —Helen Spinelli, Art Illustrator for Child Evangelism
