Come South Wind by O. W. Willis

Come South Wind contains over 50 short stories as the author, O. W. Willis, recaps some of the things and happenings of the ministry that God has blessed his life with. He relates to the grass roots and to the common people. Abraham Lincoln once stated, "God must have loved the common people; He made so many of us." The author is a man used of God to motivate, to stir, to bring conviction and to inspire a deeper spiritual walk in all of us.
O. W. Willis is one of the towering preaching personalities of The Wesleyan Church and the holiness movement. Thousands of people from around the world are familiar with the name O. W. Willis. He was raised in beautiful southern Indiana, and even a land as vast as that was not big enough to contain his ministry. He has preached in 14 countries, nearly 40 denominations, delivering approximately 9,000 sermons, conducting at least 1,000 revivals, and has ministered in summer camp meetings for 52 consecutive years, preaching the "unsearchable riches of Christ," expounding the eternal Word of the living God. After his retirement from 22 years of district administration, I have often encouraged him to put in print stories and happenings from his pastoral, evangelistic, and district administrative years of service. I recommend this book to you as an effort by a humble man to provide a glimpse of the workings of God in his life and ministry. --Glenn Black, Kentucky District Superintendent, The Wesleyan Church
