File Submissions
You can upload your digital content pertaining to your job to our FTP site. First of all, you will need to email or call us to obtain a username and password. Then you will need to follow the instructions below. If you use a Windows-based PC, you will need to follow the instructions below for Internet Explorer 6 or 7 (if you don't know whether you are using IE 6 or 7, try the instructions for IE 6 first and if that doesn't work, try following the instructions for IE 7). If you use a Mac, follow the instructions for Mac below.
PLEASE NOTE: The username and password you receive from us MUST be entered as all lower case (i.e. no capitals). If you use capital letters, you will not be logged in.
Internet Explorer 6
Click the following link (or type into Explorer 6’s address bar and hit return):
You will be prompted for a username and password (obtain one by phone or email)
You should now be able to go to this link and save it as a favorite.
Right mouse click on the favorite and go to the properties.
Copy the link from above and paste it in that url.
Click OK. Your favorite should now always have the username and password embedded in it, therefore eliminating that step.
This FTP site actually works just like copying a file from one directory in Explorer to another directory in Explorer. Copy your original file (the one you want to send to us), then toggle to the FTP window and PASTE your file onto that window.
Be sure to NOTIFY US, either by e-mail or phone, that you have left a file on this site so we will know to download it on our end.
Internet Explorer 7
If you are using Internet Explorer 7, the instructions above will no longer work for you. Follow these instructions instead:
1. Right-click on “Start” and choose “Explore.”
2. In the address bar at the top type: ftp://web28.ixwebhosting.com
3. You will be prompted for a username and password (email or call us for this).
4. You should now see a list of files on our FTP server (or icons if you are in icon view).
5. Now you can “copy” any file from your hard drive and “paste” it to the server (or drag and drop)

The easiest way to upload your files to our FTP site is to use Transmit, an FTP program with a Mac-friendly, graphical user interface. You can download a free trial version here:

If using Safari, this will create a disk image in the Finder. If not using Safari, you will need to double-click on the “Transmit.dmg” file, and it will create the disk image.
Drag the Transmit application from the disk image to your Applications folder.
Double-click on the Transmit application.
You will be presented with a window that has two panes, left and right. In the right pane enter the following information:
Server: web28.ixwebhosting.com
User Name: (email or call us for this)
Password: (email or call us for this)
Initial path: (leave blank)
Leave port at 21 and Protocol at FTP
(user name and password should be entered as all lowercase).
Click on the Connect button. After a few seconds you will see the contents of the FTP site.
On the left pane, locate your file (using the drop-down menu and then double-clicking on drives and folders).
Simply drag your file from the left pane to the right pane and it will immediately start uploading.
The software you just downloaded is a free trial and is fully functional for 15 days. After the 15 days, you will not be able to keep bookmarks of sites and your sessions will be limited to 10 minutes unless you purchase a license.
